Varujan Pambuccian is a mathematician, PhD in Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics of the Bucharest University, where he is also involved in the teaching activity.

He is a Member of Parliament and of the Committee on Communications and Information Technology of the Chamber of Deputies, where he initiated a number of draft laws which influenced the market of electronic communications equipment and services.
